  • König Galerie: Calling the former Brutistist church St. Agnes home, the Galerie features the work of 40 different international artists. The contemporary art gallery has locations in both Berlin and London.

  • Victoria Park: Escape to the hills of Kreuzberg. Located on one of the small and rare hills in Berlin is Victoria Park. Climb 66 meters above the city to this Prussian memorial. The small and romantic park has a babbling waterfall and beautiful green space.
  • Park at Gleisdreieck: Once an industrial hub and central railway, this 26-hectare park has transformed into a green oasis in the centre of the city. The modern park offers activities for all ages and activities. A perfect destination for a weekend in Berlin. 
  • Prinzessinnengarten: Located directly on bustling Moritzplatz, this urban garden is operated by hundreds of volunteers, Berliners and newcomers alike. Visit the garden cafe and be sure to take home some of the over 500 different types of vegetables and herbs that are grown on-site.

  • Marsano: For all things floral head over to Marsano. Their top of the line flower designs range from modern to vintage and all things in between. They also have a vintage furniture collection that has something from every Berlin interior. 
  • Motto: A book and paper good heaven. This is your go-to store for all varieties of publications. They also sell gift items and have different presentations and publication launches every month.
  • Voo Store: A must visit fashion experience. The 300 square meter concept store has contemporary clothing and shoes, homeware, and accessories. In addition, Companion Coffee shares the interior with their café located in an old locksmith’s shop.

Food and Drink in Kreuzberg

  • Curry36: A must eat treat while in Berlin, Curry36 has been serving customers for over the last 30 years. Try this legendary snack with or without casing and a side of fries red/white. Located on Mehringdamm.
  • Markthalle Neun: The market of all markets! Open since its 1891 debut, Markthalle Neun is a hub for the slow-food movement, featuring fresh local good ranging from produce to flowers. There are also international vendors serving up traditional delicacies. Be sure to visit on Thursdays for their street food market.
  • Nobelhart & Schmutzig: Continuing with the regional food theme, the Michelin-star restaurant is officially listed as one of the 50 best restaurants in the world. The unique and powerful cuisine served is composed using regional Brandenburg ingredients. It is urban yet trendy and has a professional laidback service.

Bars and Late Night in Kreuzberg

  • Orania: Spend an evening in the former 1913 Oranienpalast Kabarett Cafe. Orania still pays tribute to the past with their Jazz and concert lineups every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday night. Their artisanal cocktails pair perfectly with the casual luxury of this lively bar.
  • Fahimi Bar: Directly at Kottbusser Tor, or as the locals call it, Kotti, this chic cosmopolitan bar is a perfect juxtaposition to the neighbourhoods edgy urban vibe. Have an event to celebrate? Ask to rent the private back room. It’s equipped with a DJ booth, bar and a view of the elevated U1.
